Finding Shalom and a Greater Vision at ABBA 2026 by Taylor Chun

At ABBA 2026 we welcomed guest speaker Pastor Sun from California. This vision for this retreat was to set us on the right life path so we can experience shalom. There was also a guest praise team and I was so blessed by the time of worship. I felt like there was a lot of grace to freely praise the Lord. One of my favorite songs was Thank You, Jesus by Jesus Image.

I also got to spend a lot of time in fellowship with my sisters in Christ. Friday afternoon during the girls workshop I had meaningful conversations and time of reflection. God opened my eyes to not just focus on myself but look to those around me. He also restored a lot of hope in me. Throughout this retreat God has taught me to have a greater vision for his kingdom.

이번 ABBA 2026 수련회에는 캘리포니아에서 오신 선 목사님(Pastor Sun)이 강사로 함께해 주셨습니다. 이번 수련회의 비전은 우리가 인생의 바른길을 찾아 하나님이 주시는 참된 ‘샬롬(평강)’을 경험하는 것이었습니다. 수련회에는 초청 찬양팀도 함께했는데, 예배 시간을 통해 정말 큰 은혜를 받았습니다. 주님을 마음껏 자유롭게 찬양할 수 있는 풍성한 은혜의 시간이었습니다. 특히 제가 가장 좋아했던 찬양은 지저스 이미지(Jesus Image)의 ‘Thank You, Jesus’였습니다.

또한 그리스도 안에서 자매들과 함께 교제하며 많은 시간을 보낼 수 있어 감사했습니다. 금요일 오후 자매 워크숍 시간에는 서로 깊이 있는 대화를 나누고 스스로를 돌아보는 의미 있는 시간을 가졌습니다. 하나님께서는 저의 시선을 열어 주셔서, 나 자신에게만 집중하는 것이 아니라 내 주변의 이웃들을 바라보게 하셨습니다. 또한 제 안에 잃어버렸던 수많은 소망을 다시 회복시켜 주셨습니다. 이번 수련회 전반을 통해 하나님께서는 저에게 그분의 나라를 향한 더 큰 비전을 품도록 가르쳐 주셨습니다.
